What to expect when you reach out

Contacting us does not commit you to anything. Here is how a first conversation goes:

  1. You tell us about your situation in plain terms. No tax jargon required.

  2. We offer high-level guidance and answer your questions.

  3. We request a copy of your prior year tax return so we can give you an estimate for preparing your returns, and you know the cost up front.

  4. If we are a good fit, we set you up on SmartVault and get started. If not, we will point you in the right direction.

What to have ready

You do not need much to begin, but these help us give you a faster, more accurate estimate:

  • Last year's tax return.

  • A short note on anything that changed this year: a home purchase or sale, a new business, a new dependent, rental activity, or a move.

Not sure whether something matters? Send it anyway, or just ask. Sorting that out is our job, not yours.

Our office is at 66 Inverness Lane East, in the Inverness business park just off County Line Road, near the Denver Tech Center and the Dry Creek light rail station. Parking is easy, and we are an easy drive from across the Denver metro. Prefer to stay home? Most clients work with us entirely through SmartVault and never make the trip. We work with clients across the Denver metro, including Englewood, Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, and Thornton, and with clients in all 50 states online.
